Controlled Explosion of 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine

This is a clip of a controlled explosion carried out by the Metropolitan Police explosives team to dispose of a sample of 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine which is used for some high school chemistry lessons. 2,4-dinitrophenylhydrazine can become dangerous if stored incorrectly. This explosion was carried out as a precaution.
